few days they had about five hundred wounded, for the Germans were very close, but they evacuated them when they thought the ennemy were upon them and since then nothing has been done.  The place adapts itself extremely well as there are big rooms, dormitories, which will make fine big wards, holding fifty each.  There are three of these and with some rooms for officers will almost make our capacy 200.  We decided then and there to establish Auxiliary B at Juilly. - I had been to the Ambulance for awhile ^[[Spent Sat. night at Boulevard Flandrin.]]  Sunday morning and the next day started in again as I did before, going regularly.  All my craving for knowledge now seemed to crystalize for I could actually picture the place and begin to plan in my head the uses of the rooms.  

Monday night I dined with Mrs Tuck - B. (we seldom are asked apart!) Mr 
V. Black, Mrs Jaffray and the Herricks (the party for them)  I sat next to Herrick and he was awfully nice to me.  I like him really very much.

Tuesday hospital and seeing about my boxes which have arrived.  I sent over a lot of warm things
