Negro General Possible
A Negro general may be nominated to the Senate during the next session of Congress. Seen slated for star rank in the not distant future is Col. B. O. Davis, jr., USAF, son of a retired Army brigadier general. Colonel Davis is now taking an advanced course in jet fighter gunnery at Nellis AFB, Nev., before leaving for the Far East for a command - possibly with the hot 4th Fighter-Interceptor Group in Korea. He's a graduate of the Air War College and is in a favorable spot on the promotion list for early consideration.
