[[preprinted]]The International Ladies Benevolent Society
of Tokyo[[/preprinted]]

Dear Mrs. Davis:

It is my pleasure to inform you that you have been voted into the membership of the International Ladies Benevolent Society.

As you know, we are strictly a charity organization interested in helping worthy Japanese charities and in aiding stranded and destitute foreigners.

Our next project of the year will be a Charity Bazar to be held on December 3rd at the American Club and plans are already underway for this project, however, we will still need your valuable help and ce-operation in helping to make this a success. We still plan to hold our annual Bridge Tea and Cherry Blossom Ball and hope to think of other ways and means to raise the money we need to carry on our work.

We meet the first Tuesday of every month at 10:00 AM in the American Club. You will receive a notice of this and all other meetings.

We will look forward with pleasure to seeing you at our next meeting.

Sincerely yours,
