Pentagon Building
Washington, D.C.

Dear B. O. :

First, I want to [strikethrough]re[/strikethrough]commend you on the honor and history that has come your way and to our group through you. I am not surprised, because ever since our days out on the midway, I knew you had it in you.

Our Board of Directors at its last meeting unanimously voted to confer upon you a very special Urban League award for your achievements. While I understand you are on foreign duty, we do hope that with this early notice you might be able to arrange your rotation schedule so that you can be with us at our 39th Annual Meeting, Friday evening, February 11th, here in our Sheraton Hotel. J. Ernest Wilkins, Assistant Secretary of Labor, will be our other guest of honor.

With warmest personal regards and best wishes, I am

Sincerely yours,
