Sir,

This is a personal letter to you from a Negro friend in the Gold Coast, West Africa.

I was surprised when I saw your snapshort in one of our local news paper known as The Daily Graphic" written under as a General in U.S. Air Force.

It is credible to we people from the Negro Race but as it is said that all men are born Equal

and have Equal Rights. I hope with the blessing of God Negros will play major part in the World admistration in the shortest possible time.

Mr. Davis, I learnt through the Paper that you are a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York. More over during World War II, you commanded the U.S. Air Force 99th Pursuit Squadron in North Africa and in 1944 your 332 Fighter Group Flew over for the long range, heavy bombers in Italy.

Trusting that with the blessings of God, you will get An Air Marshall within the shortest possible time.

Long Life President Eisenhower who gave you such appointment of which we Negros are proud of.
