Rose Schneiderman is going to undertake this work for us and I think will d do it very well. I found great interest at the meeting over this plan and I think that we can get a number of people to contribute money who ill not g give it to organization work. WWont it be fine if we get a real response fron the girls themselves and that they will be eager to do this work. We expect to have street meetinfs etc. to inform the unorganized girls and win their interest for organization.

Friday was the great dinner to T. R. before he left for South Amer America whene he will be for about 6 months. It was a great occasion and crowds of people more than they could seat. Raymond spoke and every one liked his sp ech immensely except he himself. It was on the whol a tremendous affair only the place where they had the dinner could not accomodate all the people and so ofcourse there has been a good deal of criticism. Raymond left the next day for Washington where he ws going to see the Posts who are there now ; as you know. I am beginning to do work and am really getting started, though these week ends do shorten up the time remarkably. Sunday we rode up to Kate and I spent the night with her. She is going to have her exhibition next wek and we are very excited about it. Wont it be fine.

It seems too wonderful to be true that this has really come off and that it promises so well. Mary quinnn was up at Kates and was so enthusiastic over the work. I am so glad.

Dear Dodo I must stop now.
with much love dear.
