I feel like painting this morning and hope the sky will remain interesting. It will not be necessary for you to send me any new boards as I think those I have will be sufficient. Finished reading Coriolanus, Macbeth, Titus Andronicus, and am now read Troilus and Cressida. The first two I like very much. I think Coriolanus best. The third one is a crime that I dont think Shakespeare is guilty of. Expect to finish T. & C. tonight; read until almost twelve last night.

I miss you very much my boy, it is rather lonely here now for me, especially after having had you here with. Hope you arrived in good season in Paris last night and did not have trouble in finding a place. Will go out sketching now; so goodbye
with love from:
Andrew.

very calm, so I perched myself with several other St. Guinoleians where only fools would perch on a stormy day. I caught a little fish and so did everyone else; then for a while every one but myself was catching a fish a minute. Then suddenly my line got taught and my heart leapt into my mouth. Someone gave me advice in French about something I should do, but before I could understand it my line parted. Dam it my line parted! and I didn't even get a glimpse of him. I'm sure he was a beauty and I can always think as I did not see him, that he was the finest fish that ever broke a line.

Wednesday morning. Was awakened by the siren hoarse voice, howling for some reasons I know not, as the sea is very clear with a strong wind blowing storm clouds across the sunrise.
