with one of the fellows who was at Wo [[Woodstock]] summer before last. his name is Coles he is from Iowa. Paris is very beautiful now yesterday morning it was wonderful along the Seine. A great many of the chesnut [[chestnut]] trees have lost all there [[their]] leaves. Some of them have come out again and are all in blossom.
