Mrs. Hardy Harris was hostess at a luncheon on Friday at Town Tavern, honoring her step-sister, Mrs. William Dawson of Tuskegee. Mrs. Dawson is the wife of the head of the music department at the school and has a dress shop herself. Among the 16 who attended were Mr. B. O. Davis who is on her way to join her husband, Col. Davis, in Japan, and Mrs. Lois Marshbanks of Tuskegee.

Dr. and Mrs. B. L. Boswell had as houseguest their niece, Mrs. Marvlous Harrison of New York City. While here, she enjoyed a lovely vacation, being greeted by her many friends and having many courtesies extended her. . . . Mrs. Victoria Nelson had friends in on Sunday to meet her son and daughter-in-law, Capt. and Mrs. Richard Nelson, who were on a visit here from Oklahoma. . . . Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Watkins have as their houseguests for three weeks Mrs. Mattie Jones and Mrs. Walterine Thomas, sisters, from Newark, N. J. Last week they were dinner guests of Dr. and Mrs. Wayman McCoo. . . . Prominent visitors here at present are Dr. and Mrs. Hallie Taylor
