spent the evening on Mystic with George Coit in his canoe. He seems to have as good a memory as I for trifling incidents in our life those years ago.

July 27  Fearfully hot.

floated round Mystic pond with George Coit who read aloud some of Davis' short stories. "Galiger How I was best man
girls riding on the

swans in the Boston public gardens. Liked the stories rather well.

Home late to tea. Aunty advised me not to accept so many invitaitons from George Coit.

My chief pleasure gone in that case.
