Drew Mrs. Tyler, very badly.  Got talking about Doctors and found to my astonishment how similiar her experience of neglect to mine.  Only hers greater.  Was struck with Mrs. Tyler's broad minded tolerance and even affection for one who could so grossly neglect his duty towards her.

At the same time such things deceive others.  But that is their own lookout.
[[underlined]]In fact one should never give up one's judgment to anothers keeping.[[/underlined]] 

Found Mrs. Mayberry at home.  Such inimitable tales of the old ladies home!  Her remarks upon looking at the photo of Gertrude's fiancé "Oh that upper lip drawn down!  Well I suppose he's not responsible if the Lord did it!  But if he may not kick her down stairs he will see [[strikethrough]]see[[/strike through]] that she gets there.  He has a good face however.

So hard for Mrs. Mayberry to get a moment to herself.  She locked the door one day this week thinking suddenly she would secure an interum although as it never is done it really might have alarmed somebody.  But of course, hardly was it done when there came a ring at the bell and presently a knock, "Mrs Mayberry"! "Not a word!  I kept a mumb as possible.  "Mrs. Mayberry!  No she is not here, but if you will just sit down I know she is in the house somewhere"  "So off goes Kate and thinks I now am in for this business I'll let her wait and take a moments repose myself, never dreaming, you know but that it was one of the tiresome women who came by the screens [[strikethrough]]I might say[[/strikethrough]] and leave me no hour of the day.  Hours, minutes, seconds I might say.  Its always Miss Mayberry some one wants to see you at the door, back and forth all day long.  And just this once I stand right still and never let on I heard it all.  So imagine -- my feelings
