THE SENIOR BANQUET

The Senior Banquet, held at the Grand Hotel on May 4, was one of the highlights of the year. There was a big turnout, consisting of the seniors and their dates, the parents of the graduates, a number of the high school faculty and their husbands, and the chairman of the school board and his wife.

Peter Shek, the master of ceremonies for the evening, did an excellent job. The program consisted of a speech by Mr. Moore, an accordion solo by Tony Yu, two songs by the Young Life Quartet - the singers being Peter Shek, Tony Yu, John Hillis, and Peter Landerman (a sophomore and special guest of the Seniors), and speeches given by May Wang and John Hillis about their impressions of our school.

A good time was had by all. We want to thank Mrs. Marable, our senior advisor, for the help she has given us. Our class, being the first to graduate, hope the succeeding classes will make this event a tradition.
