JUNIOR EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The Junior Executive Committee of the Taipei American Youth Association was formed to act as a liaison between the various youth organizations and the association in the scheduling and administration of programs.

This committee is composed of two members of four organizations now represented. The four groups and their respective representatives are: the Taipei American School, Suzy Davisson and Neil Smart, the Teen-Age Club, Lynn Groves and Larry McConnell, Girl Scouts, Susan Schorr and Elizabeth Swisher, Boy Scouts, Sam Wilder and Jim Dale. Sam Wilder is President, Suzy Davisson is Vice-president, and Larry McConnell is Secretary. The term of office is one year and in the case of departure of any member, a new representative will be elected to fill the unexpired term.

The Junior Executive Committee has drawn up a list of rules governing the conduct of all who will be using the Youth Center. Members of the committee will have the power to oust anyone who does not obey the rules. In the scheduling of events, the school has top priority until 5 P.M. on school days. From 5 P.M. on, and during week ends, the youth groups will have first priority. Adult groups may reserve the Youth Center and will be considered according to receipt of request.
