Hill, Norbert

An educator and official of American Indian Science & Engineering Society, Mr. Hill is an Oneida of Wisconsin and is currently a Trustee of the Heye Foundation

Hoxie, Frederick E. (Ph.D.)

Historian and Director of the Newberry Center for Indian History in Chicago. Well known to the Indian historians in the country, Dr. Hoxie is an effective fund-raiser and is very sensitive to Indian cultural and intellectual concerns.

Inouye, Honorable Daniel K.

U.S. Senator from Hawaii and Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Indian Affairs. Senator Inouye has been instrumental in establishing the National Museum of the American Indian and is currently a Trustee of the Heye Foundation.

Joe, Jennie (Ph.D.)

A Navajo anthropologist who directs a medical research center at the University of Arizona, Tucson. Dr. Joe is enormously well respected in her own specialty of medical anthropology and is involved with Indian communities throughout the country. She has served on a number of national Indian health policy commissions.

Josephy, Alvin M., Jr.

An author of many books on American Indians, Mr. Josephy is a Trustee of the Heye Foundation and President of the National Council of the Museum of the American Indian.

Kidd, Julie Johnson (Mrs. Wilmot H.)

Mrs. Kidd is President of the Christian A. Johnson Endeavor Foundation and currently chair of the Trustees of the Heye Foundation.

Kidwell, Clara Sue (Ph.D.)

A Creek/Chocktaw historian, Dr. Kidwell is Dean and formerly chair of Native American Studies at the University of California at Berkeley. She is currently a Trustee of the Heye Foundation.

Momaday, N. Scott (Ph.D.)

A Professor of English at the University of Arizona, Dr. Momaday -- a Kiowa -- is a Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist ([[underlined]] House Made of Dawn [[/underlined]]). He is a current Trustee of the Heye Foundation.
