Prosecutes for Trespass

R. a. Heney, a cousin of the prosecutor, and William Gillett, charged with trespass at Reclamation, were tried and [[?]]nvicted in the justice court at Petaluma on Wednesday. Attorney Jack w. [[?]]ord represented the district Attorney's office, and appeared to prosecute. The other men, arrested at the [[?]]ame time, forfeited their bail by fail[[?]]re to appear for trial.

[[?]]HE WINE SUIT IS TO BE SUBMITTED

Superior Judge F. H. Dunne, sitting [[?]]r Judge Seawell, presided again on [[?]]ednesday at the trial of the suit of [[?]]onzo vs. Reiners, involving a contract [[?]]or the sale and delivery of 25,000 gallons of wine at 25 cents per gallon. At the conclusion of the testimony it was agreed by counsel, William F. Cowan and John A. Barham, to file briefs, briefly setting forth the facts as viewed by counsel and the law applicable to the same. On account of another trial waiting to follow oral argument was dispensed with.
