One of the most interesting features of the whole exhibition is the start of the flight, when the machine makes its long run across the grounds and begins to soar in the air. Then again the spectacular air work will be within a short distance of the ground, making it practically impossible for the flight to be seen to any advantage except from within the enclosure.

In Ellensburg the crowd will be given an opportunity to see the machine at close range. In Seattle and elsewhere where meets have been held the aviator would not allow the crowd to approach within several hundred feet of his machine. Here the crowd will be allowed to come within a few feet of it except just before the flight, when it will be necessary to have a larger cleared space.

The mines in the upper end of the country have not been working on Tuesdays for several weeks and it is thought that a record crowd will be brought down from Cle Elum and Roslyn.

Agent J.Y. Edwards of the N.P. has received notice that an extra passenger coach will be at Cle Elum that day to handle the crowd which will coem down at noon.
