The one big week will begin on Sunday and the festivities will start off with the greatest novelty attraction of the carnival, the aviation meeting, in which Aviator Wiseman, the most daring and successful aerial navigator on the coast, will make a series of spectacular flights at the race track at 1:30 o'clock in the afternoon. Wiseman's exhibitions have been witnessed by thousands and his remarkable feats in the air are the talk of aviators throughout the land. The biplane he uses is of his own invention. It has solved the problem of aerial navigation and is subject to perfect control. This is demonstrated by the difficult and complicated maneuvers he executes.

The San Luis Obispo Telegraph, speaking of Wiseman's exhibition at Pizmo last Sunday, says:

"Aviator Wiseman made his farewell appearance at El Pizmo beach yesterday and his flights were the most successful of the many sensational conquests of the air, which he has already made at the resort. Fully 3,000 people gathered at the beach to watch him.

"In his first flight Wiseman made a speedy run the length of the beach, to show his control of the machine. The second flight was the sensation of the day. He rose rapidly at a steep incline to a height of several hundred feet, and made the complete circle of the beach, finally darting off into the hills. Here it was thought he would surely land, after a long time in the air, but he made a sharp turn and was soon whirling through space at a rate of a mile a minute, the biplane finally settling like a great bird safely on the sands.

"The thousands who have seen him fly at the beach all regret his departure from this section, and hope he may return at a later date. All predict a brilliant future for Wiseman, who is one of the youngest aviators in the business and is already among the top notchers of the pioneer aeronauts. Wiseman goes from here to Salinas to participate in the aviation meet of the one big week, and that he will be the star attraction there goes without saying. The people of the Burbank city have a treat in store for them."

Following the airship flights at the track there will be an automobile parade to Hebert's park, where the championship game between Salinas and Soledad teams will be played at 3:00 o'clock. A balloon ascension will precede the game and the Soledad band will furnish the music. The day's festivities will conclude with a concert on the street in the evening by the Salinas city band.

Excursion rates for the one big week will be effective on Sunday from San Francisco on the north to San Luis Obispo on the south and intermediate points.

AERIAL FLIGHTS WILL BE SIGHT OF A LIFETIME

To soar through the air at the rate of seventy miles an hour, go as high or as low as desirable, perform aerial maneuvers with as much ease as a bird, are a few of the feats accomplished by Aviator Wiseman, who will give a series of flights in this city Sunday and Monday afternoons.

Following a quick preliminary test of the biplane, Wiseman carefully seats himself and his mechanicians start the motor, which revolves the propeller blades many thousand times a minute. As soon as the motor is in good working order the biplane is released and at the end of a short run on the ground to give it headway, the rudders are placed and the machine soars into the air and climbs upward at a very rapid rate.

The sight is a thrilling one as the machine operated by the intrepid driver sails overhead at a terrific speed. One cannot help cheer as the airship passes overhead, its rapidly revolving motor making a roar which once heard is not forgotten.

As a birdman Wiseman ranks among the best, and he has yet to make a failure. He is an experienced aviator and has his own machine. He has made several years study of aerial navigation and the biplane he uses has several appliances of his own invention.

His flights will be well worth seeing and the people of this county should not overlook an opportunity of seeing the sight of a life time.
