[[underlined]] New Orleans to [[/underlined]]

Dec. 31, 1937

Foggy & rainy as we crossed the new bridge over the Mississippi but soon cleared up and gave us a beautiful day in New Orleans.

Went out to Audubon Park and saw all of the zoo, mostly African but some good big aligators and numerous native gray squirrels all over the park.

These squirrels are very small and dark with no white on bellies, very fuzzy fur, short ears and short tails.
