Caught a bobcat just back of camp, large, very red or rusty brown, hair thin in summer coat. Put him in sack to keep until the Chapmans return. Took 25 feet of movie and 10 stills.

Had a fine old male raccoon in another trap. Took two snaps of him and let him go.

Found 3 bear traps sprung and nothing caught. A deer sprung the main trap but easily pulled out as the chain was loose on so small a foot.
