Winter wheat ripe and first crop of alfalfa cut.

Waited at Thoreau til 6 PM and went out to camp at Cottonwood Gulch 
No one at camp yet but staid with W. M. Perry who lives on the camp farm just below the camp and looks after things for Mr. Howie
