Had lunch with Dr Atkinson at Pasadena and saw the new place he wanted to buy but advised against it.

Took the Owl for S.F. at Glendale at 6 PM.

[[underlined]] Aug. 24 [[/underlined]] Reached Berkeley at 8 AM & Zie met me at train. Pictures in evening. Saw E.H.M. in forenoon and afternoon, and again [[underlined]] Aug. 25. [[/underlined]] Went to Fair & had moving pictures in [[strikethrough]] evening. [[/strikethrough]] PM. for Floddy.
