Our Special car, Erie 191, and Combination Sleeper and Buffet car were delivered to the MK&T at 8:00 A.M. October 14th/ MK&T Day Coach was also added to our train and with engine, Special left Kansas City via MK&T at 10:42 A.M. October 14th.

Arrived Moran 2:35 P.M., where Rodgers landed account of oil and gasoline; left Moran at 3:20 PM, arrived at Russell Creek at 5:45 P.M., where Rodgers landed account of engine trouble. Left Russell Creek at 6:00 P.M., arrived Vinita, Okla., 7:25 PM October 14th 188 miles. We were delayed at Vinita one day, the 15th, account of high wind; left Vinita at 7:47 AM October 16th; arrived Muskogee 9:37 A.M., where Rodgers landed for oil and gasoline. Left Muskogee 11:37 A.M., arrived McAlester 1:50 P.M. October 16th, 127 miles.

We remained at McAlester over night and Rodgers made repairs to motor. Left McAlester at 7:45 A.M. Oct. 17th; arrived Denison, Tex. 9:43 A.M.; left Denison at 10:55 AM; arrived Pottsboro at 11:45 AM; left Pottsboro at 11:20 AM; arrived at Whitesboro at 11:45 A.M. Rodgers lost his way here and went up the Wichita Falls branch to Bonita, 48 miles. He made a landing at Bonita after we had flagged him down, and after taking gasoline and oil he returned to Gainesville, from where he went to Fort Worth via Santa Fe, arriving at 4:15 P.M., October 17th, 192 miles.

Our Special train remained at Whitesboro until we found out his actions, and we left Whitesboro at 3:20 PM via MK&T, and arrived at Fort Worth 5:30 PM October 17th.

Left Fort Worth at 12:05 PM October 18th and arrived Dallas at 12:42 PM same date, 32 miles. We remained in Dallas all day the 18th. Special train and Rodgers left Dallas at 1:55 PM October 19th; arrived at Waco 4:05 P.M. and 6:00 P.M., 99 miles. Left Waco 11:10 A.M. Oct. 20th, arrived Granger 12:35 P.M. Left Granger 1:10PM and arrived Austin 2:00 P.M; left Austin 3:35 PM, landed Kyle 4:01 PM. Special train arrived Kyle 6:00 PM, 133 miles. Remained at Kyle to October 21st, account of rain and high winds.

Special train and Rodgers left Kyle at 9:48 AM Oct. 22nd and arrived Marcos 10:20 AM. Left San Marcos 11:41 AM, arrived San Antonio 12:40 PM, Oct. 22nd, 56 miles. Remained at San Antonion Oct. 23rd.

Special train and Rodgers left San Antonio 12:30 PM Oct. 24th with GH&SA coach in place of the MK&T coach. Landed LaCoste 1:08 PM account of motor trouble. Left Lacoste at 2:24 PM, arrived Sabinal 3:30 PM; left 4:21 PM; arrived Uvalde 4:52 PM; left 5:17 PM; arrived Spofford, Tex., 6:05 PM October 24th, 133 miles.

In starting to rise morning of October 25th at Spofford Rodgers wrecked his machine. This delayed party at Spofford Oct. 25th to make repairs. Special train and Rodgers left Spofford 1:04 PM Oct. 26th; arrived Del Rio 2:55 PM; arrived Sanderson 5:28 PM and 7:00 PM October 26th, 174 miles. Remained Sanderson Oct 27th account high winds.

In starting morning of Oct. 28th, Rodgers broke lower plane and skids. Repairs were made and Rodgers and train left Sanderson 11:41 AM Oct. 28th; arrived Alpine 1:20 PM; left 2:30 PM; arrived Marfa 3:00 PM; left 3:58 PM; arrived Sierra Blanca 5:42 PM Oct 28th, 221 miles. Left Sierra Blanca 9:00 AM Oct. 29th; arrived Fort Hancock 10:10 AM; where Rodgers landed account motor trouble. In landing he broke lower skids. Repairs made and all left Ft.Hancock 2:40 PM; arrived El Paso 4:15 PM October 29th, 91 miles.
