On Sunday morning September 17, [[strikethrough]]the[[/strikethrough]] 1911, when I reached the Erie passenger terminal of Jersey City I met Howard F Bennell, \Superintendent of \Transportation for Armour & Co. and a number of this Armour \Representations: T.B. Hanley newspaper correspondent; [[strikethrough]]and[[/strikethrough]] V. Palumbo, \Photographer for Hearst, [[underline]] and [[/underline]] Frank Shafer, personal representative for Rodgers at the last minute, and most unexpectedly, came Rodgers' mother and wife, (who remained with him until he reached his destinaationx) ???
