NATIONAL AIR RACE ZONE MEETING - WASHINGTON, D.C. January 30th, 1932 Your constructive suggestions are needed in the drafting of the Schedule of Events for the 1932 NATIONAL AIR RACES. Several Zone Meetings, in different cities throughout the United States, have been arranged to make possible open forum discussion for the entire industry, prior to the final draft of the 1932 Schedule of Events. The first of these Meetings will be held in Washington, D. C. on the afternoon of SATURDAY, JANUARY 30th. The Meeting will be held at the Headquarters of the National Aeronautic Association, Dupont Circle, at 2 p m A cordial and urgent invitation is extended you to be in attendance, and further, an invitation for you to bring any individual or individuals whom you believe would be interested. The following topics will be in the order of business: [[underlined]] Proper Handicap for Transcontinental Sweepstake Derby Possible Handicap of ATC and Group II Closed Course Races OVAL Race Course instead of Triangular Formula for Selection of Annual Nat'l Air Race Champion Pilot [[/underlined]] This Zone Meeting is scheduled to co-ordinate with the Second Annual Reception and Ball in honor of America's Distinguished Fliers, sponsored by the Aero Club of Washington, a Chapter of the N.A.A., to be held at the New Willard Hotel on the evening of January 30th.
