LIBERTY AERIAL TREASURE HUNT
and
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS

[[strikethrough]] You are missing the most interesting, delightful and exciting cruise of the year, also a change for $13,918.00 in cash prizes, beautiful trophies and an economical way to fly to the National Charity Air Pageant, America's Great Air Meet. [[/strikethrough]]

Elaborate arrangements for the entertainment of the Treasure hunters have been made at all control points. Contestants are urged to assemble at Lambert Field, St. Louis, Missouri on Monday, October 2nd, and attend a dinner arranged in their honor by Mr. Bernarr Macfadden, to be held that evening.

The itinerary of the Hunt is as follows, remember that Mr. Macfadden is paying all hotel hills, gasoline, oil and hangar rental from St. Louis to New York:-

1. The takeoff will be made the morning of October 3rd from Lambert St. Louis Airport.

2. The first leg of the flight will be from St. Louis to Cincinnati by way of Terre Haute and Indianapolis an air line distance of 337 miles. Luncheon at Indianapolis, over-night stop at Cincinnati.

3. The second morning, October 4th, the flight will be to Cleveland via Columbus, a distance of 248 miles.

4. On October 5th, the Treasure Hunters will leave Cleveland for Syracuse via Buffalo, a distance of 308 air miles. Conditions and air disturbances from Buffalo East and South are liable to present a hazard at this point of the Race, necessitating an over-night stop in Buffalo instead of Syracuse. Taking for granted that flight weather is favorable, the Treasure hunters should leave Syracuse on the morning of October 6th for Albany, a distance of 105 air miles and would then arrive in New York around 2 o'clock in the afternoon of the 6th.
