EVENT No. 7 - FREE-FOR-ALL HANDICAP RACE 4:00 P.M. Sunday, August 5 $2,000 Total Prize - 1st $1,000 - 2nd $500 - 3rd $250 - 4th $150 - 5th $100 Sperry Artificial Horizon Trophy Donated by Fairchild Aviation Corp. Any type of plane eligible - handicap formula to be announced at Pilot's Meeting the day of race, distance 50 miles; course to be approved by the Department of Commerce; starting time to be at the drop of a flag; finish time to be the drop of a flag: no cutting of pylons. EVENT No. 8 - WOMEN'S PARACHUTE JUMPING CONTEST. 5:00 P.M. Sunday, August 5 $80 Total Prize - 1st $30 - 2nd $20 - 3rd $15 - 4th $10 - 5th $5 Jumping from not less than 1,500 feet, contestant landing nearest a given mark to be declared the winner, measure to be taken from the place the jumper first touches the ground.
