Women Pilots Arriving for Air Meet
CONVENTION OF NATIONAL GROUP OPENS ACTIVITY

Program at Dayton Municipal Airport Will Start Saturday Afternoon.

SPEED EVENTS ARE CARDED

50-Mile Free-for-All Race Will Be Staged for Women Aviators Sunday.

Women active in aeronautics from throughout the country assembled Friday at the Biltmore hotel for the annual meeting of the Women's National Aeronautical association.

The morning, following registration, was given over to the reports of national and unit officers.

All sessions are being presided over by Mrs. George Shaw Greene, of Dayton, national president for the last year and for the next year.

Annual Report.

In her annual report, Mrs. Green stressed the worthwhileness of such an organization "added to the power of concerted thought and action."

"We are interested in aerial transportation." she said, "and its different phases. we are interested for the flyers and for those who use airplanes for transportation."

"Aerial transportation is invaluable for mail and express and business daily making use of this mode of transportation for securities and funds."  

"Our organization means a great deal to women whose sons and husbands are flying in that we can bring them the latest developments in safety, laws, etc. Our membership also includes-
