Women's National Aeronautical Association

Organized in twenty cities in different sections of the United States, the Women's National Aeronautical Association is admirably project the cause of aviation. It is an active, national organization whose membership consists of women interested in the development of aviation

as well as women pilots. The object of the organization is to help in any way the furtherance of aeronautics, supporting air-mail, air travel, aviation legislation and women's wide knowledge and interest in aviation.

Dayton has been singularly honored during the past year thru this organization, in that a Dayton woman, Mrs. George Shaw Greene, headed the association as president. Mrs. Marguerite Jacobs Heron, also of Dayton is national secretary. 

99's
Among women's groups for 99's is truly a unique organization. Its roster consists only of licensed women pilots. There is a membership of approximately three hundred members. It is international in scope. The women pilots who compose the 99's reside in all parts of the world. A monthly publication, very attractive in design and very well edited is issued in New York and circulates to all the members, keeping them in close contact. The members residing in the United States gather for social occasions in their particular district now and then thruout the year,

retaining keen interest in the organization, which is not only closely knitted, but which serves to keep in a personal way, the interesting contacts licensed women pilots experience in all parts of the world. This organization, like the Women's National Aeronautical Association is a distinct asset to the world of Aviation. Mrs. Margaret Perry Cooper, of New York is president of the 99s.

Jumping from not less than 1,500 feet, contestant landing nearest a given mark to be declared the winner, measure to be taken from the place where the jumper first touches ground.
