20. Under the provisions of Circular No. 148, War Department, July 11, 1922, (Appointment of Officers in the Regular Army); letter of the War Department (A.G. 210.1 (8-7-22)), dated August 7, 1922, and Section V, AR 605-5 (Commissioned Officers, Appointment in Regular Army, except Medical Department, and except Chaplains), boards of officers as hereinafter constituted are appointed to meet at the places indicated, at 10:00 a.m., October 23, 1922, and at such times thereafter as may be necessary, for the purpose of conducting the final examination of such candidates for appointment in the Regular Army, to determine their fitness therefor, as may be authorized to appear before the boards.
