This size is very popular, one having been sold to the British Navy and another ordered. These are equipped with an anchor carried in the nose, stored in such a manner that it can be lowered to the ground being held in place by guys, and then drawn up by a small engine carried in the car. The ship is able to pivot about the anchor and always face the wind. During the test trials for acceptance by the British Admiralty, a speed of 51.1 miles per hour was obtained, and it was anchored for a period of 24 hours without any damage whatsoever. This ship was 10000 cu.m. and 270 feet in length.
