4. Actual wire communications consist of a central station on each airdrome with a direct trunk from Luke Field to Department Headquarters and from Wheeler Field to the Divisional Headquarters Station, with sufficient circuits to insure communications with:
(a) The Command.
(b) The Infantry.
(c) The Artillery.
(d) Other Air Service Units.

The telephone is used to communication with:
(a) The Department Air Officer.
(b) Corps, Division Artillery PC's.
(c) Corps, Division Artillery PC's.
(d) Artillery Battalions, Batteries and CP's. 
    (Through fire control systems.)

5. The Telegraph (wire): While wire telegraph communications are seldom used by the Air Service in this Department, adequate provisions have been made to use commercial telegraph lines and in case of emergency service buzzer sets for communications to forward areas.
