particularly the delay at the docks in San Francisco, where property must be held until space is secured on transports enroute to Manila. The Air Officer, 9th Corps Area, is now charged by the Property Maintenance and Cost Compilation Section with expediting the shipments of Air Service property received at San Francisco enroute to the Philippine Department.

VI. War Reserve.

      1. The matter of War Reserve has been brought to the attention of all concerned by the Department Air Officer. The latest communication on the subject is dated December 6, 1923, subject "Status of Air Service Supplies and Equipment, Philippine Department" from the Air Officer and replied to by the C.O., 4th Composite Group, by 1st Indorsement [[Endorsement]], dated December 28, 1923. Re-reference is also made to proceedings of a Board of Officers, dated November 18, 1923, which board met at Camp Nichols for the purpose of making recommendations in connection with the present Tables of Allowances for Air Service units, and which proceedings were attached to 1st Indorsement [[Endorsement]] of December 28th.
