54. It must be held in the mind that the whole litteral of Asia from Kamahatica to the Southern limit of aircraft radius from Formosa, is completely under air force dominance and communication from Japan to the continent of Asia can only be stopped by bringing superior air power to bear against them. So long, therefore, as Japan can hold control of the air along the coast of Asia she will have free communication from her islands to the continent and can transport her military forces, particularly across the Straits of Shimonoseki, with facility.

55. Japan's conforms in organization and training to that of England and is designed, of course, primarily for defense against the United States.
