   Principles of attack, support and reserve echelons will be carried out.
   Isolated combats with small groups of enemy pursuit will not be engaged in. 
   The attack flights when engaged in combat will maneuver the enemy into position favorable for attack by our support and reserve echelons. 
   Enemy pursuit will be driven or lured as far as possible away from its airdromes. 
   The pursuit leader and deputy leaders will bear in mind continually the time element and gas capacity of their planes.
   Forty minutes of gas will be held for combat.
   All pursuit elements, upon signal, will break off combat and proceed to prearranged rendezvous point. 
   After defeat of hostile pursuit our pursuit will destroy hostile aircraft on airdromes with machine guns or bombs. 
(b) When operating as support to bombing missions both squadrons will proceed on converging lines to the point
