Close cooperation with the defenses against aircraft will be maintained by means of visual and radio signals. Teamwork with searchlight batteries will be perfected. On Moonlight nights hostile aircraft are visible up to six hundred 
yards. On dark nights the limit of visibility is two hundred yards.

(f) Ground attack. pursuit will be used against ground targets only in case of emergency. Attacks will be made under six hundred feet. Twenty-five pound fragmentation bombs and machine guns will be used. Targets as follows:

Hostile airplanes on the ground
Airdromes
Personnel and Fuel Supplies. 
Personnel of anti-aircraft defenses on ground and on decks of seacraft.
Hostile landing parties.
Enemy troops, particularly when massed on roads and beaches.
All other hostile moving objects.
