Seacraft may be divided into three categories:

1 Armored, such as battleships and battle cruisers
(Bombs to be used against above, 1100 or 2,000 lb. high explosive)

2 Protected, such as cuisere carrying armored deck, etc.

3 Unprotected, which includes all other seacraft
(Bombs: 500 or 600 lb. high explosive)

One well placed bomb of the above categories will sink completely disable the seacraft of the respective types noted.

Ordinarily, bombardment aviation will not use bombs of less than 300 lbs. for any purpose. Some exceptions may be made in the case of gas and phosphorous.
