(b) The Telegraph (wire)

- While wire telegraph communications are seldom used by the Air Service in this Department, adequate provisions have been made to use commercial telegraph lines and in case of emergency service busser sets for communications to forward areas. 

Contemplated wire communications consist of direct trunk lines from Airdromes, as follows:

(a) Five trunks to Luke Field to include:
Separate circuits from Luke to Wheeler Field,
Two trunks from Luke Field to Fort Shafter,
One trunk from Luke Field to Kamehameha,
          One trunk from Luke Field to Armstrong.

(b) About 100 trunks from Fort Shafter to Schofield Barracks giving Wheeler Field any number of direct trunks to all points on the Island. 

(c) A Department net covering all commands and points on the entire island.
