ordered 9:58. All planes off the ground at 10:07. Formation very good.

(b) Two planes to leave Luke Field with twenty-five pound dummy bombs and bomb harbor target from 3000 feet. Bombing very accurate. No bomb fell more than 300 feet from target. Twelve bombs fell within 100 feet of target. Two shots were 15 feet away from target.

23rd Bombardment Squadron: Commanded by Captain Kari H. Gorman.
(1) Equipped with Martin Bombers.
(2) Need more starter batteries. Should be purchased locally.
(3) No bomb heists. 
(4) No 1100 lb. bomb racks.
(5) No 2000 lb. bomb racks.
(6) No 2000 lb. bombs.
(7) Oxygen outfits to be taken out of planes. 
(8) All crew men should be equipped with rubber soled shoes.
(9) Batteries in planes should have better racks.
