COLONEL MITCHELL'S JUDGES, the ten army officers who made up the court martial board. Originally there were thirteen on the board, but the summary challenges by Col. Mitchell ousted three members, Brig. Gen. Albert Jesse Bowley, Maj. Gen. Fred Winchester Sladen, and Maj. Gen. Charles Pelot Summerall. In this group are Generals E. E. Booth, F. R. McCoy, B. A. Poore, D. McArthur, R. L. Howz, president of the board, E. B. Winship, W. S. Graves, W. S. King, E. B. Winans, and George Irwin. All are either brigadiers or major generals.
