THREE PLENARY SESSIONS TO EXAMINE ASPECTS OF BUILDING, USING POWER

The theme of the 59th Annual Convention of the NAACP to be held in Atlantic City, N.J. from June 24 to June 29 will be "Building and Using Power in the Ghetto."

Bishop Stephen Gill Spottswood, chairman of the board of directors, will direct his keynote address to this theme in his opening remarks Monday night, June 224. Senator Fred R. Harris of Oklahoma, a member of the National Advisory Commission on Civil Disorders will address a Tuesday night meeting; Roy Wilkins will address the Freedom Fund dinner Friday night.
