New York City – July 10-13, 1968 "The Challenge of Total Involvement," convention theme, will key the annual meeting of Lambda Kappa Mu Sorority when that prominent distaff group welcomes some 550 delegates and friends to a four-day session in New York City's Waldorf Astoria Hotel in July. [[image - portrait photograph of Mrs. Marie G. Leatherman]] Mrs. Marie G. Leatherman, of Detroit, is Grand Basileus of the Sorority, which has grown to 1,200 members since its founding in 1937. The organization builds its activities around four basic principles: Sisterhood, Achievement, Service and Scholarship.
