The high school where every graduate goes to college.

Harlem Prep used to be a supermarket. Now it's one of America's most unusual independent high schools.

No walls separate classrooms. Almost no walls separate minds. Teachers don't just lecture. Students don't just listen. They mix. They argue. They laugh. And sometimes, there's a burst of good, healthy anger.

It is a school for dropouts that gives its students a real challenge. Until they're accepted by a college, they can't get a diploma. In less than three years, 110 students have attended. Not one has failed to graduate.

Some record.

This experimental school doesn't pretend it has all the answers. But it provides a way for races and religions, students and teachers to learn from each other. Then draw their own conclusions.

Lessons learned in schools like Harlem Prep can strengthen our nation. But to continue this good work takes support. Humble is proud to have provided some of it.
