[[caption]]The LKM SHOWCASE DINNER DANCE featured the presentation of awards to persons "totally involved" in the community action programs in Boston and vicinity. Appearing with the Grand Basileus (lower left) are Rev. Vernon E. Carter; (standing) Mrs. Joanne Ross, educator cited for her professional growth and determined efforts to make others "aware"; Mr. Reginald Eaves, member of the Mayor's Committee on Human Rights, involved with helping other adults. Not shown are Bishop Fulton J. Sheen and Soror Mildred Davenport, a former physical education Teacher (Kapa) who was honored with a special award in recognition of her unique services to the community.[[/caption]]
