ANNE CAMPBELL

Anne Campbell is the Director of Community Relations for WCAU-TV. She is also producer of a number of WCAU-TV programs, including the continuing series "Conversation With The Governor," (Pa.), "Governor Cahill Speaks to the People," "Mayor Tate Reports," "Capitol Hill to Philadelphia." (U.S. Senators from New Jersey and Pennsylvania), and "Official Report."

Mrs. Campbell came to WCAU-TV in 1962 after fifteen years with the Columbia Broadcasting System in New York. Prior to that she was an executive with a movie theater chain in Washington, D.C.

A native of Philadelphia, Mrs. Campbell attended business schools in New Jersey and the Annenberg School of Communications of the University of Pennsylvania.

She is listed in America's Tenth Man, a pictorial review of one-tenth of a nation, presenting the Negro contribution to American life today; in the 1970 Foremost Women in Communications; and in the 1969-70 Two Thousand Women of Achievement, an international publication published in London, England. Mrs. Campbell has been honored by The Chapel of Four Chaplains in Philadelphia for "work accomplished for others," by the East Trenton Civic Center for her "devotion to furthering the welfare of all mankind," and by the United States Army for "outstanding contribution to the success of the recruiting mission."
