JOHNNIE WALKER SALUTES THE CHICAGO BEARS—Niles E. Henriksen, second from left, Central Regional vice president of Somerset Importers, Ltd., presents walnut and cloisonne pen sets, bearing specially mounted Bronze Doubloons imprinted with the Bears' team schedule for 1970 to each member of the pro team. Shown at recent presentation ceremony at the Bears' headquarters in Chicago are, from the left: Charles R. Bowen, assistant district manager, Somerset Importers, Ltd.; Mr. Henriksen; Edward McCashey, vice president and treasurer of the Chicago Bears Football Team; Paul Patterson, player relations manager of the Chicago Bears. Thousands of doubloons, with the football schedule on one side and the Johnnie Walker striding figure on the other, have been given out to sports fans through package stores, restaurants and bare in cities where there are pro teams. Because of the great demand for the doubloons, Somerset plans to increase the available supply in 1971 to two million doubloons. Somerset Importers, Ltd., a Norton Simon company, has distributed the Johnnie Walker Scotch whiskies in the U.S. since 1934.
