We've Re-made the Spreadables from the Dressing Up.
(You'll Love the Result!)

Lighter, Better Tasting Dressing
You'll love the delicate flavor of this new dressing. It's creamy but light. Adds just the right amount of zest.

Chunkier Meat Salads
They're chunkier, meatier tasting - more like your own meat salads.

More Meat Flavor
Because the dressing is lighter, it brings out the flavor of the quality meat. Chicken, ham, turkey or corned beef.

Good, Rich Color
Makes you hungry just to look at them!

MAKING LUNCH CAN BE AS EASY AS CHILD'S PLAY

A good, nourishing lunch which can be made up quickly and easily. Homemakers surely want that.

They can achieve it, too, by encouraging members of the family to make their own lunch - not only the children, but Dad and grandmother, too.

Too often, without a little guidance, the tendency is to have a bag of potato chips and a bottle of pop. Total nourishment - practically zero.

On the other hand, a child or other family member who is used to assembling his own lunch at home - out of healthful ingredients - is more likely to eat sensibly away from home, too.

Here's how to teach them in a way that's fun for all.

Just before lunch, set out on the counter a selection of delicious and healthful foods for them to choose from: loaves of fresh-baked bread made with whole grain cereals and a selection of The Spreadables - sandwich spreads like chicken salad, turkey salad and ham salad, all extra delicious thanks to the new Carnation formula with its lighter dressing and chunkier meat.

For a beverage, serve a pitcher of fresh whole milk or economical instant non-fat milk. Show them how to "invent" fresh fruit drinks by mixing different combinations of fruit in the juicer. It's fun to invent names of these drinks as well.

Making lunch can be as easy as child's play. You set the rules by giving them foods that taste good and are good for them, too, and everybody will benefit.
