The 1972 National Convention of Kappa Alpha Psi and Omega Psi Phi Fraternities were held at the Shamrock Hilton and the Rice Hotels in Houston, Texas. Needless to say, a good time was had by all and a lot of serious planning for the good of both organizations was executed.

A highlight of the Kappa Convention was an investiture service for H. Carl Moultrie, their former National Secretary, who was appointed a Federal Judge.

In the picture (pic 1) is James Avery, National Prexy of Omega Psi Phi; Judge Moultrie; Dr. Thomas Carter, Grand Hallmark of Kappa Alpha Psi, who came to bring greetings from the Kappas, and Marion W. Arnet of Omega Psi Phi.
