NATIONAL FUNERAL DIRECTORS AND MORTICIANS ASSN.

Fairmont Hotel
Dallas, Texas
August 7-13, 1973

The National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association is composed of some 2,000 funeral directors in 32 states, Africa, Jamaica, West Indies, Nassau, Bahamas and Bermuda. The Organization was formed with the expressed purpose of promoting a closer relationship between the practicing funeral directors across the country and in those foreign areas where we have Black representation.
This relationship has been implemented through educational seminars conducted in the eight districts into which our Association is divided. In addition, an annual convention is held the first week in August at which time new technical skills and improved methods of funeral service are presented to the members in a continuing effort to render better service to the public.
