THE CONVENTION OBJECTIVES

The purpose and philosophy of this 74th Annual NLB Convention are built around three major objectives:

* This Convention represents the annual effort to provide for Blacks in business the full range of NBL's on-going services in a concentrated format

* This Convention program is designed to explore ways in which we can "turn our urban communities around" - forging black business into the bloodstream of America - through a more effective use of existing resources for economic development, inner-city rehabilitation, and mutual pursuits of profits.

* This Convention provides a national forum for exchange between our constituencies, the legislative and governmental branches of the private sector whose activities impact on minority business enterprise.
