AMY ROBERTSON WEDS DR. ALFRED GOLDSON

Miss Amy Ellen Robertson, the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Irving E. Robertson, Jr. of Boston and Oak Bluffs, became the bride on June 29 of Dr. Alfred Lloyd Goldson of St. Albans, N.Y. son of Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd Goldson of St. Albans and Oak Bluffs. The afternoon ceremony was performed by the Rev. James Clark at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Oak Bluffs. A reception followed at the Sandpiper Restaurant in Vineyard Haven.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her gown was designed by Frank Masandrea and was fashioned of white silk organza and guipure lace with attached chapel train. She carried a bouquet of stephanotis and babies' breath. 

Miss Audrey Robertson served as her sister's maid of honor. She was gowned in yellow flocked voile and carried yellow roses and babies' breath. The bridesmaids were Cynthia Williams, Los Angeles, Calif., Miss Mercedes Walton, Bronx, N.Y., Miss Ellen Underwood and Miss Beverly Pina, cousins of the bride and both of Boston, Mrs. Judith Jackson of Norfolk, Va., sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Jacqueline Bonner of Boston. They were dressed in mint flocked voile and carried nosegays of yellow and white roses and babies' breath.

The best man was the bridegroom's brother, Jeffrey Goldson, and the ushers were Dr. Lawrence Hill and Dr. Alvin Robinson, both of Washington, D.C., Dr. Al Cuyjet, Michael LeSegne and Jay Blum, all of New York city, and Alvin Miller of Los Angeles, Calif.

The mother of the bride wore aqua pleated chiffon and the bridegroom's mother was gowned in pink chiffon.

The bride prepared at Notre Dame Academy, Hingham, and is a magna cum laude graduate of Smith College, Northampton, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She is attending Antioch School of Law, Washington, D.C.

Dr. Goldson is a graduate of Hampton Institute, Hampton, Va., and of Howard University Medical School, Washington, D.C. He has just completed his second year as a resident in the Department of Radiation Therapy at Howard University Medical Center.

Following a trip to Africa and Europe, the couple will live in Washington, D.C.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lucille Lippman of Oak Bluffs.
